Problem

The NODA board decided they wanted to revamp the way their attendees experience the annual NODA conference. Their priority list included an efficient way to communicate event-related information to its members. The NODA board understood that email threads and printed programming weren’t the most practical ways for attendees to navigate event programming. In turn, event attendance was starting to reflect this lack of proper engagement.

To remedy this, the NODA board figured that if information were easy to access for attendees and easy to update for the event coordinators- attendees and coordinators alike would gain the most out of their membership and conference experience.

    The Results

    Reduced print costs by over 85%

    NODA was previously spending $3.80 per attendee on print costs alone. Aside from items, such as name tags, the NODA app essentially replaced all need for printed programming. In turn, the average print cost per attendee decreased to $0.48.

    Reduced support inquiries by 50%

    NODA leveraged the push notifications feature to properly relay any reminders or schedule changes. Additionally, the event coordinators were able to update the app in real time when any schedule changes occurred.
